1. In order to pick the best available talent, the selection of teachers in all Army School/Army Public Schools is done by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES)
2. A Nation wide advertisement publised in all leading dailies by HQ AWES by 15 Oct each year. Applicants are required to approach any Army School/Army Public School and obtain an application form along with a broucher on a payment of Rs. 10/- giving full details about the process of selection. Last date of submission of forms in 15 Nov.
3. The subject and level wise vacancies available and anticipated in the next five to six months, if any, are displaced in the concerned Army School/Army Public School.
|4. Candidates are screened and short listed in four stages:-|
|a) Eligibility Check of the candidates between 15 Oct to 25 Nov. by the school |
b) Written test on second Sunday of January each year.
c) Interview between 15-25 Feb each year.
d) Teaching skills on completion of the interview.
